Diane’s Journey

Diane Ramos is originally a native of Long Island, NY. She is a twin, so if you happen to see her out and try to say hello and she does not respond, most likely you just saw her twin. She is a wife married to her wonderful husband for 33 years and a mother of 2 sons now 31 and 28 years old. She has lived in South Florida for over 29 years where she attended Palm Beach State College. She first received her associates degree in landscaping and horticultural management. Later, she got her Bachelor’s in Business Administration General Management. Diane used her education to start and run a successful family business in landscape management for over 16 years. She later sold the company just as she decided to join us at Ahrens Companies. In her early education, Diane was unable to complete her high school diploma and had to get her GED. Due to that hurdle she made it her biggest goal to one day attain a Master’s Degree with high honors.

Diane continued her march toward her goal at Saint Thomas University where she attended school online starting in the Spring of 2020. Some of the biggest challenges she faced while attaining her masters degree were running a household as a wife and mother. Additionally, she faced the test of trying to create successful changes in habits and lifestyle to meet the demands brought on by her endeavors. As we all experienced, dealing with the challenges brought on by the pandemic also increased the level of difficulty she faced. However, on May 13, 2022 Diane succeeded in the attainment of her Master’s degree in Business Administration.

She proudly sashayed across the commencement ceremony stage to receive her MBA as a Kappa Gamma Pi with Summa Cum Laude high honors distinction. Diane inspired us by demonstrating that no goal is unreachable as long you put in the work.

As one of our office all-stars, Diane supports our new and returning clients as our Customer Relations Coordinator. She assists our clients through the beginning phases of the project’s lifecycle. Diane’s experience shows that she knows how to handle challenges and chooses to face adversities with a smile. In the construction industry we face challenges daily in our pursuit to bring our client’s goals to fruition.
